We are currently looking for part-time home-based transcribers and article writers.

The requirements for each position are below:

 

Article Writer


Memokitchen needs a few passionate writers to be part our team. If you have an entrepreneurial spirit, can follow through on any assignment given to you and have an overflowing desire to put your thoughts into words, then you might just be what we need.


RESPONSIBILITIES

Your main task will be to create articles about technology. This includes writing about Android devices, mobile apps and other similar topics. You might also be asked to write about other topics you are interested in as well, when the need arises.


REQUIREMENTS

  1. Certified bibliophile and consumes blogs, news and media heartily
  2. Has recently (less than 3 months ago) written and published content online professionally either through blogs, news sites, paid content sites, article submission sites and anything similar.
  3. A stable Internet connection
  4. Excellent spelling and impeccable grammar
  5. Responsible, works with minimal supervision, meets deadlines, and committed to quality work.
  6. Easily reachable via email and can write a few hours per day.
  7. Experience in paid article writing, SEO writing and/or copywriting definitely a plus
  8. High school and college students (and new grads) are welcome to apply

COMPENSATION

Pay is per article, based on the type, length and complexity, and you can earn up to P3,000 or more per week while keeping your regular job. While you can use our facilities to work, you should be able to work remotely as well using your own personal Internet connection and computer.

Also, include at least two (2) of the best articles you have written within the last 3 months which have been posted online, if you have some. These can either be sent as PDF/Word attachments or as links/URLs if they are online.


In lieu of writing samples, you can also write a short sample article as part of the application process (you retain all the rights to this article, not us).

Transcriber


If you are a skilled transcriber in any field, then you might just be qualified to become part of our team!


RESPONSIBILITIES

Work would involve transcription of audio content from a wide variety of topics, including podcasts, seminars, interviews and the like. A style guide will be provided and you have the choice of which audio to transcribe.


REQUIREMENTS

  1. A secure and reliable broadband connection for online work.
  2. One (1) year experience in transcription (medical, legal, general) required. Please include the relevant work you did in your resume
  3. Adheres to strict deadlines.
  4. Professional and can work with very minimum supervision.
  5. Takes pride in producing quality work.
  6. Excellent grammar skills.
  7. Available for work at least 10 hours a week and can be easily contacted through email.
  8. Experience in using Dreamweaver and HTML a plus but not required.
  9. Familiarity with ESL English accents (British, American Southern, Indian, etc.) a plus.
  10. Well-read and familiarity with technology terms, current events and related subjects also a plus.

COMPENSATION

Pay is based on a per minute audio rate and you can earn up to P2,500 or more per month working only a few hours each week.
